CSV Export for Wallets
S
Steven
I would like to request a CSV export for each wallet, so that we can archive our documents' according to wallets and have a copy of all the modification we make to our transactions (correcting types, tagging, notes, etc...).
This would also allow us to have a backup we could use to restore a particular wallet in case it gets messed up.
For example, the other day I was importing a file called Ledgers and I didn't notice that those transaction were not from a hardware ledger but from an exchange that just included "ledger" in the csv file, so I had to delete the wallet and start over since there were too many transactions to remove and figure out what was what.

They are like a controlling wife. They are afraid you'll leave if given control of yourself. And they might be right if they don't.

Si mi serve esportare il CSV delle mie transazioni modificate e aggiunte manualmente. Voto anche io per questa funzione

This would be a great feature, even better if you could also choose specific wallets in addition to a global export.

Can we get a response on this? I am reconsidering using Koinly for future tax years as the lack of this feature prevents me from accessing my own data and making complex edits to multiple transactions. It is very anti-consumer. In the meantime I will be requesting a copy of all my data through GDPR and I would encourage others to do so too.

Agreed! It seems like this would be a fairly simple feature to implement & would add great value for users. Seems unfair to spend your own time manually fixing transactions & then have no way of exporting your own data & hard work.

Export and existing wallet or copy to a new one with all transactions

I would like a new feature to be able to export an existing wallet with all transactions to a csv file or to export transactions into a newly created wallet for testing purpose.
Here is the drill:
I created a wallet and imported all transactions
Then I've spent hours manually fixing and merging them
Now I need to import more transactions that overlap with the previous period
My experience shows that there is a big chance new transactions will not play nicely with my changes. And as a result I will have to delete the wallet, import both files and redo the manual work from the scratch.
It would be great to be able to export a wallet with all existing (manually changed) transactions to a csv file, so I could re-import it later if needed. The other option would be to create a copy of the wallet on the website and then use it as a sandbox.
Thank you.

Export transactions with options

Possibility to export all transactions or export all transactions within a single wallet. So you have different options. Koinly have great support and integrations and should not be afraid that people will "walk away from their platform" because they can export. If other platforms do this, people will walk away from koinly over time anyway, so keep and grow customers by setting these things up. Thanks! :)
