Add Address Nicknames and Wallet Ownership Verification

Please allow users to identify frequently used blockchain addresses and assign meaningful private names to them.
When a user repeatedly interacts with an address, Koinly could ask the user to identify it using options such as:
• My wallet
• Exchange account
• Protocol or application
• Another person or business
• Unknown address
Users should also be able to assign a private nickname to any address, regardless of who owns it. Examples might include:
• Personal cold wallet
• Business wallet
• Family member
• Payment recipient
• Specific exchange
• Specific DeFi protocol
These labels should appear throughout the transaction history and be available as filters.
This could help Koinly:
• Recognize transfers between a user’s own wallets
• Reduce the risk of personal transfers being treated as disposals
• Make transaction histories easier to understand
• Identify recurring counterparties and protocols
• Improve future automatic classifications
• Reduce mistakes involving unfamiliar destination addresses
Many blockchain explorers already allow users to assign private address labels. Adding similar functionality directly within Koinly would make transaction review much faster and clearer.
