Copy any transaction and in doing so soft delete the source transaction (so it is hidden but avail again if needed) .This would allow fixing API transactions that don't record fees or record wallets correctly. API transactions can't be altered and manually copying them to fix issues is slow and cumbersome.

This is a good change, but ultimately a band-aid to the real functionality desired. We should just be able to edit an API transaction when needed.

Transactions will now have a "Duplicate" option in the dropdown menu. This allows you to easily duplicate transactions and change some details :)

It seems many similar requests are lumped into one. I guess the user story should be "Duplicate any transaction".
You could then allow the user to choose if they wish to soft-delete the previous one.
For me this would be a useful feature when manually adding transactions for chains that don't have auto-sync support yet.

button to duplicate transaction as new manual transaction. when Koinly cant understadn a transaction and we have to add a manual version of it, its annoying having to get all the data, dates, times, coins, hash etc the same. Duplicate as new tx would be a cool feature and make cleaning up my reports wayyyyy easier. Unfortunately i still seem to have to do this a lot.

My market orders (on Binance) are often executed in multiple parts, meaning multiple transactions with the same date, time and currencies.
I want to be able to save manual data entry time, by duplicating a transaction, and only editing the fields that are different between transactions in one 'batch' of trades.
