Transactions using Crypto.com Exchanges 'Quick Buy' feature not properly recorded/communicated via API.
I have an API link to the Crypto.com Exchange (where I currently trade), and a CSV upload from the Crypto.com App (where I started, but no longer trade). I was experiencing a phantom balance issue in my Crypto.com App wallet (CSV) which was inflating the actual value of my total assets in the Exchange wallet. Details below. Issue Details: There were four transactions that occurred on the Crypto.com Exchange which lead to this "phantom" value issue in the Crypto.com App wallet. All four transactions were made using the Crypto.com Exchange's 'Quick Buy' feature. All four transactions were recorded on the Crypto.com APP's transaction history, NOT the exchange's. This is presumably because the Application functions as a brokerage, and this transaction is likely more fitting on that platform Since the 'Quck Buy' transaction was made on the Exchange, It should be safe to assume that it would be captured on the Exchange's transaction history and communicated via the API; however, that is now the case. Actions I took to resolve: Manually enter transfer data for all four transactions into the Crypto.com App's CSV file then re-upload to Koinly. Potential solutions: When 'Quick Buy' transactions are made on the Exchange, Crypto.com should immediately execute (or record) a transfer action to the Exchange so that the App's CSV does not erroneously maintain a value that shouldn't be there. Update 'Quick Buy' transactions so that they are recorded on the Exchange transaction history and communicated via API. This is probably the cleaner way as it does not necessitate a buy and subsequent transfer action. Impact: The average user may not notice such issues, especially with small transactions, potentially leading to erroneous tax reports. Potential for exponential/cascading impact for large portfolios.
